The Dallas Cowboys lost more than just one game vs. the Buffalo Bills.
On top of being kind of exposed and leading to countless speculations about their true status as contenders, their offensive line also suffered two big blows.
LT Tyron Smith suffered a back injury during the game and RG Zack Martin couldn’t even finish the game because of a quad injury, and neither was able to participate in practice all week.
Notably, HC Mike McCarthy talked about their status on 105.3 The Fan, stating that Zack is closer to making his return than Tyron, but he didn’t make it clear whether they would play vs. the Miami Dolphins or not (via Jon Machota).
Cowboys RG Zack Martin left Sunday’s game in Buffalo with a quad injury. LT Tyron Smith suffered a back injury during the game. They have not practiced this week.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy this morning on @1053thefan: “I would say Zack is ahead of Tyron right now.”

This final stretch of the season will be crucial and brutal for America’s Team.
They’re currently atop the NFC East, but they have the same record as the Philadelphia Eagles, so any setback could be a catastrophe at this point in the season.
The Cowboys still have to face the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders after this game vs. the Dolphins, while the Eagles will have two games vs. the New York Giants and one vs. the Arizona Cardinals, so they clearly have a much easier schedule to close out the campaign.
Mike McCarthy’s team hasn’t been good on the road, and that could be a major issue when they face the most explosive offense in the league, especially if they’re undermanned and unable to keep up with that high-scoring pace on the other side of the field.
