Against all odds and despite what most analysts thought, the Dallas Cowboys managed to climb all the way to the top of the NFC East Division.
Nick Sirianni’s team entered the campaign as the No.1 candidate to take the divisional banner and perhaps even the first seed in the conference.
The second goal seems out of reach now, as they’re no longer in control of their destiny and the San Francisco 49ers have one more win than them.
The division, however, is still up for grabs.
And according to NFL on ESPN, the Eagles actually have a 62% chance of winning out the remainder of the season, whereas the Cowboys only have a 30% chance of winning their next three games.

The Cowboys have three tough tasks ahead of them.
They’re going to visit Florida for a clash with the Miami Dolphins, followed by a home game vs. the 10-4 Detroit Lions before closing out the season at the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles, on the other hand, have back-to-back home games vs. the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals before visiting the Big Apple for a rematch with the Giants in their season finale.
Still, the Eagles have left a lot to be desired over the past month or so, so even though they’re a clearly superior team, they still need to prove it on the field.
Whatever the case, the race to the mountaintop will be one for the ages, and whoever wins the pennant will be more than well deserved.
