Los Angeles is a city known for its star power.
Not just with movie stars and celebrities but also professional athletes.
One of the biggest stars in baseball is Shohei Ohtani.
He is the reigning AL MVP and entered free agency this offseason ready to move on from the Los Angeles Angels.
He did not go far as he signed a 10-year, $700 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Now, Ohtani is ready to become the next star of LA.
His first public appearance as a Dodger came on Thursday night at the Los Angeles Rams game.
As shared by MLB, Ohtani was shown on the big screen showing off his Rams jersey.

Ohtani will most likely spend the rest of his baseball career in LA.
So it makes sense that he wants to get acclimated to the city.
Ohtani joins a Dodger team that has World Series aspirations.
That is something new to Ohtani as he has never even played in the playoffs during his career.
Even though Ohtani cannot pitch this upcoming season, his impact will be felt with his bat.
He should be the Dodgers’ everyday DH and bat in the middle of their order.
With all the great players around him, a career year at the plate should be coming.
Ultimately, Ohtani to the Dodgers is a move that shook MLB.
But, seeing Ohtani play on the biggest stage is what fans have been clamoring for.
Now we should get that chance in 2024 and beyond.
