The New Orleans Saints will have one of their best players back on the field in Week 4.
Star RB Alvin Kamara will be reinstated after serving a three-game suspension following some incidents dating back to last season.
The Saints entered the season with high hopes and expectations, but they’ve failed to be at their best, at least offensively.
Their woes were even more evident when QB Derek Carr had to leave the field with a shoulder injury.
That’s why Kamara is so eager and happy to be back on the field, and he recently stated that he’s prepared to serve in whichever capacity HC Dennis Allen needs him (via ProFootballTalk).
“It’s weird not playing, so obviously it feels good to be back out there with teammates, feels good to be back out there running, moving around,” Kamara said

Kamara could be in for a big workload in his first game back.
Jameis Winston is expected to be back on the field as their starter for Week 4, and that hasn’t translated into a lot of success.
The Saints’ defense continues to rank among the best in the league, and they’ll give the offense a position to stay in the game, but they need to find ways to move the chains.
The Saints have a better chance to win by controlling the tempo of the game with long drives, meaning the veteran back isn’t likely to be eased back onto the field.
As of now, the Saints are tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons with a 2-1 record, and the division has been more competitive than expected early in the season.
Up next, they have a division clash with the Buccaneers, giving Winston a chance to start against his former team.
