The San Francisco 49ers are firing on all cylinders right now, with the NFC heavyweights looking to make a statement in Week 16 against the AFC’s best team on Christmas Day with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens coming to Levi’s Stadium.
Along with the 49ers heading into their biggest game of the season with the distinction of being the league’s best team on the line on Monday night, it’s also the biggest holiday of the year, with a lot going on for a lot of families in this country and around the world.
As the 49ers prepare to take on perhaps their toughest opponent yet in a potential Super Bowl preview on their home field, star running back Christian McCaffrey made sure to take care of his teammates who have helped him become a legitimate NFL MVP candidate this season.
In a way to show appreciation for all the sacrifices his teammates have made for him to be successful, McCaffrey gifted his 49ers teammates with golf clubs via NFL on ESPN.

Although the MVP award almost always goes to a quarterback, with Brock Purdy being the favorite to win the regular-season award right now, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that McCaffrey will sneak in there and win his first MVP with some solid performances to end the season.
Along with bragging rights as arguably the league’s best team being on the line on Monday, the MVP award will likely get decided as well, with Purdy and McCaffrey going up against Jackson, which makes this game that much more interesting.
