The Baltimore Ravens have made a statement.
Even though they’ve lost several games they were supposed to win and weren’t expected to be as good as, say, the San Francisco 49ers, John Harbaugh’s team currently has the best record in football, and it’s far from a coincidence.
That’s why, following their huge road win, former NFL superstar Antonio Brown took to social media to show his support for Lamar Jackson as this year’s rightful MVP.

Notably, Brown hinted at signing with the Ravens multiple times in the offseason, but it never seemed like they had any sort of real interest in acquiring his services.
He’s been erratic and has gotten himself into countless legal issues over the past couple of years.
Nonetheless, this opinion was as lucid and valid as one could expect, as Jackson, indeed, played like an MVP.
Jackson has already taken the award home once, so he knows what it takes to get it done.
Still, he’s also been on the losing end of a playoff game way too many times in the past as well, so he knows those awards are pretty much meaningless unless they also come with a chance to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy.
A win over the Niners put them in a privileged position to run away with the No. 1 seed in the AFC, not to mention the fact that it also gave them bragging rights over them ahead of a potential Super Bowl rematch.
