We’re just a couple of weeks away from the end of the 2023 NFL regular season, and it’s been a great one.
Notably, it seems like anything can happen at this point, and while some teams have been fairly consistent, others fall in and out of the top five.
With that in mind, former NFL star Jeff Saturday put together his ranking of the top five best teams in the league as we head to the finish line.

At No. 5, Saturday chose the Cleveland Browns, the most resilient team in the league by a mile and a squad that just can’t seem to lose regardless of who’s out there.
Despite their plethora of injuries on both sides of the field, they’re sitting on a 10-5 record and are 3-1 since Joe Flacco took the reins of the offense a month ago.
The Detroit Lions got the nod at No. 4, which is far from a surprise after watching them hold down the fort to beat the Minnesota Vikings and secure their first NFC North title in history.
They still need to prove they can beat good teams, though.
The same can be said of the No. 3, the Miami Dolphins, although that home win over the Dallas Cowboys was a big step in the right direction.
Last but not least, he chose the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, with the latter obviously getting the top spot after that statement road win on Monday night football, and it’s going to be tough to see who gets that No. 1 spot at the end of the season.
