New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge is having an amazing season with incredible totals considering he has played only 103 games.
He missed considerable time with hip and toe injuries, but that hasn’t stopped him from posting a .269/.407/.622 line with 37 home runs, 75 RBI, and a 1.029 OPS.
He is actually among the league leaders in home runs (tied for ninth, to be exact) in round-trippers in just 103 games.
Perhaps if he hadn’t torn toe ligaments on that June 3 night at Dodger Stadium after crashing with the wall in the outfield, the Yankees would have made the postseason and he would have made another run at 60 homers.
But he did tear ligaments in his right big toe and missed multiple weeks with the ailment.
Even his teammates have marveled at Judge’s incredible numbers.
When asked about Judge’s 2023 performance, ace Gerrit Cole had a special request for MLB and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
“Gerrit Cole was asked what goes through his mind when he sees Aaron Judge’s stats (37 HRs in 103 games). ‘Can we get some padding in Dodger Stadium?’” Yankees insider Bryan Hoch tweeted.

He is obviously referring to that night in which Judge crashed against the outfield wall and was forced to miss multiple weeks with a painful ailment.
Even with limited playing time, Judge has hit 99 home runs in the last two seasons.
99 home runs!
That’s more than any other player in the league by a considerable margin.
At 31 years old, Judge remains in his prime and poised to keep terrorizing pitching in the AL East and MLB as a whole.
