It isn’t exactly a secret that the New York Jets season has not gone according to plan.
The injury bug has plagued this team throughout the year, which started with Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles tear in the Jets’ season opener.
After a series of trial and error after Rodgers’ injury, the Jets are on their fourth starting quarterback.
Having inconsistency at the position makes it difficult for offenses to get into a rhythm, especially for a team’s wide receivers.
While that is typically the case for many teams, Garrett Wilson has found a way to maintain his role as a dominant pass-catcher.
As Jeremy Fowler has pointed out, Wilson still managed to achieve 1,000 yards on the year despite the Jets having the 31st-best passing offense.
#Jets WR Garrett Wilson with the hardest-earned 1,000-yard season you ever will see.
He now has 1,008 yards as part of the league’s 31st-ranked passing offense

Wilson didn’t get much of a chance to play with Rodgers, but he found a way to still be impactful with Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Trevor Siemian as his quarterbacks.
It will be interesting to see what Wilson can do next season, assuming Rodgers plays for the entire year.
If he can amass 1,000 yards with three different quarterbacks, there’s no telling what his ceiling could be with a player of Rodgers’ caliber.
Wilson has also worked hard to contribute to this offense, even though they have already been eliminated from the playoffs for the 2023 season.
If they are in a better position next year, he will fight that much harder for yardage, knowing it will help better his team’s record and standing within the AFC.
