The Cleveland Browns entered the season determined to get back to the playoffs, and there was no room for excuses this time.
Kevin Stefanski’s team had absolutely everything they needed to go back to the postseason, from a stacked defense, a solid coaching staff, and even a franchise-caliber quarterback.
Things started falling apart early, with Nick Chubb getting hurt for the season and the team eventually losing more and more players, even the said quarterback.
Fast forward to today, and after four different starting quarterbacks and a plethora of injuries, the Browns still made it to the playoffs.
Now, NFL insider Ari Meirov reports that there’s still a slim chance that the team could get the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
How the Browns can get the No. 1 seed:
– Ravens lose to Dolphins on Sunday.
– Ravens lose to Steelers in Week 18.
– Bills beat Dolphins in Week 18.
– Browns beat Bengals in Week 18.

For that to happen, the Baltimore Ravens need to lose to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and then to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.
That sounds tough, considering how well the Ravens have played and how much the Dolphins have struggled vs. winning teams.
Then again, the Dolphins are also looking to get the No. 1 seed, and we already saw the Steelers beat them this season.
Then, if that wasn’t enough, they need the Buffalo Bills to beat the Dolphins in Week 18, and that could also happen, as the Bills have owned the Dolphins as of late.
Last but not least, the Browns would also have to do their part by taking down the Cincinnati Bengals in the season finale, and they’ll have plenty of time to get ready for that game, not to mention the fact that they’ve had their number in the Stefanski era.
