Week 17’s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins will effectively decide which team takes the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
If the Dolphins win, they’ll just need to beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 18 to take the top slot in the conference.
But if the Ravens win, they’ll lock up the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the postseason.
That motivation for Baltimore is why FOX Sports analyst and former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson says the Ravens will blow out the Dolphins in this matchup.
“The Ravens want home-field advantage because they know that’s so important to get to the Super Bowl – two wins, and we’re in Vegas,” Johnson said. “To do that, they’ve got to win the game. I believe the score, believe it or not, is going to be 42-17.”

Johnson added earlier in the clip that if the Ravens can slow down Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill, the rest of the offense will slow down as well.
It’s certainly not as simple as that, but Baltimore proved this past week its defense can thwart a good offense after the team held the San Francisco 49ers to just 17 offensive points in a big Week 16 win.
The Dolphins have the No. 1 scoring offense in the NFL still, but the Ravens defense allows the fewest points per game this season – 16.3.
Baltimore’s offense, meanwhile, averages 27.8 points per game and has scored at least 30 points in two of its past three games – both of which were wins.
If the Ravens win in the fashion Johnson predicts, the case for which team is the best in the NFL will be officially closed before the playoffs even begin.
