The Dallas Cowboys have way more than just a streak on the line.
Even though they no longer control their own destiny in the NFC or their division, there’s still a slim chance that they could win both things.
On top of that, they cannot afford to drop a third consecutive game with the playoffs just a couple of weeks ahead of us; that’s not how you want to enter the postseason.
That’s why it’s such a massive break for them to know that Detroit Lions star CB Cam Sutton might not be able to suit up for Saturday night’s NFC showdown.
According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, Sutton will be a true game-time decision for the Lions, who still don’t know if he’ll be able to play through a toe injury.
I’m told the #Lions still don’t know if CB Cam Sutton (toe) will play tonight vs the #Cowboys. Sutton remains questionable & a true game-time decision. The plan is to work Sutton out in pregame warmups for a final determination.

The Cowboys have won 15 straight games at home, averaging almost 40 points per game and allowing just under 20.
It’s been a tale of two teams for the Cowboys this season, as they haven’t been able to find that same dominant form away from Arlington.
The Lions are fresh off celebrating their first-ever NFC North Division title and their first divisional title in the past 30 years, but they’re not satisfied yet.
Dan Campbell’s team shows up to play and fight week in and week out, and you know they want to make a statement by putting an end to the Cowboys’ impressive streak, even if they’re undermanned.
