The Baltimore Ravens currently have the best record in football and look like they are destined to run away with the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
That’s not a surprise to some, as they were touted as one of the dominant forces in the conference, although their offense has fared much better than predicted in the first year under Todd Monken.
More than that, they’ve been quite physical and have looked to make a statement in every single game, following the steps of former bruisers like Ed Reed and Ray Lewis.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Chris Broussard claimed that if he were playing nowadays, he’d be a Raven.
Needless to say, that prompted some big laughs in the First Things First set, but he argued that he has the same mindset as Patrick Queen in the sense that he believes that most of the league is getting too fancy and less physical.

He talked about the AFC North being the only exception to that rule, adding that the San Francisco 49ers are 1-3 against them and that two of the Ravens’ there losses have also been in the division.
Broussard doubled down on his hilarious take by stating that both the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers would be where the Ravens are right now if they had Lamar Jackson.
And while he made some valid points and everything he said made some sense, it’s still hard to take that assessment seriously, and it would be hilarious to see him going against Cam Heyward.
