The Kansas City Chiefs need as much help as they can get to finish the season on a high note.
Fortunately for them, they might get a key contributor back in time before their AFC showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals.
According to Aaron Wilson, WR Mecole Hardman is back to full strength and will be activated off of the Injured Reserve (IR) list.

Hardman has barely played since being traded back to the Chiefs midseason, and he had been out with a thumb injury.
While not the biggest name in the game, he did spend four years with the organization before signing with the New York Jets as a free agent, so he’s familiar with the system and clearly has some chemistry with Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs will be without Kadarius Toney for the second straight game as he continues to nurse a hip injury, and he’s currently second on the team with 27 receptions, which speaks volumes of how inconsistent and depleted their WR corps has been this season.
Poor play, drops, and a lack of discipline have set this team back over and over throughout the course of the campaign, and the frustration has reached all the way to their stars, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Andy Reid will hope that Hardman can now step up and get back to being a steady contributor to the passing game, as the Chiefs have looked far from the Super Bowl-contending team and offensive juggernaut they’ve been since Mahomes took over.
