The New England Patriots aren’t going to make the playoffs, but Bill Belichick wants to keep winning some football games.
Not only is Don Shula’s record still in place, but he’s also never been known for tanking, as we watched last week when they took down the Denver Broncos.
Nonetheless, they’re going to have a tough time finding the same success this week vs. the Buffalo Bills, as they just announced that both Kayshon Boutte and Jabrill Peppers would be out for this divisional matchup.

Belichick has had a hold on the AFC East Division for years.
The Patriots are nowhere close to the Bills, at least on paper, but we’re talking about someone who knows every single trick in the book and who would definitely love to play spoiler for one of his favorite victims.
The Bills need to be perfect if they want to secure a divisional banner, and with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins set to square off, this is a must-win game.
Josh Allen has been fairly more efficient ever since the Bills fired Ken Dorsey and replaced him with Joe Brady, and getting James Cook more involved in the offense has also done wonders for them.
Their defense is also one of the most stacked in the game, and they shouldn’t find that much trouble hand-cuffing Bailey Zappe and the Patriots’ struggling running game.
Then again, time has taught us over and over not to count Bill Belichick out.
