The Miami Dolphins head into a critical match against the Buffalo Bills this week to cap off their regular season schedule.
This game has huge postseason implications for the Dolphins, as the winner will take the AFC East crown.
The Dolphins have one of the best offenses in the NFL, but they’re coming off a devastating 56-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17 that opened up a path for the Bills to steal the AFC East away from Miami.
That game, as well as the Dolphins’ previous flops on the road this year, turned Stephen A. Smith completely off of Miami as a Super Bowl contender.
“I’ve lost all faith and all respect for the Miami Dolphins,” Smith said. “I’m so disgusted with the Miami Dolphins. They make me sick.”

The Dolphins are one of the strangest teams in the NFL considering how good they are at home versus on the road.
Miami’s four road wins were all against teams with sub-.500 records, while their four losses were all against playoff-caliber teams.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins are 7-1 at home.
What this means is that Week 18 – which is at home for Miami – would decide if the Dolphins host or travel for their playoff game.
