With Jim Harbaugh having tremendous success at the University of Michigan once again, as the school nears a title with him at the helm if they can get the best of the University of Washington in the College Football Playoff National Championship, the former San Francisco 49ers head coach has become a hot commodity in the NFL.
All signs point to Harbaugh giving the NFL another shot, with plenty of teams in the league expected to show interest in bringing him in to be their next head coach.
Although Harbaugh has been connected to a number of NFL teams as his stint with the Wolverines could be coming to an end, there’s been no clear frontrunner for his services.
With his immediate future up in the air, everyone has started to speculate where he could land and where he should land, with Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports having his own opinion on the two teams that make the most sense to hire Harbaugh via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“To me, there’s only two jobs that you look at and go, ‘Oh, that’s interesting.’ No. 1 is the obvious one: The [Los Angeles] Chargers. And the Washington Commanders,” Cowherd said.
“If I’m Jim Harbaugh… Two I would take a phone call. That’s it.”

With the Chargers being a potential win-now situation, Los Angeles is the likely more intriguing team for Harbaugh, as he might not have the patience to go through the rebuilding process that’s ahead for the Commanders.
However, it’s uncertain what Harbaugh is prioritizing heading into this process, which means the opportunities are wide open.
