The Detroit Lions made a huge statement on Thursday night.
Their fanbase traveled and took over Lambeau Field, making them feel right at home as they routed their lifelong rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
That’s why HC Dan Campbell made sure to let his players know just how proud he is of them and how the sky is the limit for the team if they keep playing that kind of defense the rest of the way.

Campbell pointed out how important it was to get a divisional win, adding that they’re 3-1 after one quarter of the season and that they deserve to enjoy this break.
He also added that they need to get ready to face the Carolina Panthers, reaffirming that this is just one win, albeit a big one.
There’s a different feeling about this Detroit Lions team.
Campbell has his players ready to run through a brick wall for their team, each other, and even for him, and that’s simply remarkable.
If someone had said that this Lions team would be this good this fast and with Jared Goff at quarterback three years ago, chances are people wouldn’t have believed them.
But the former tight end has been instrumental in building a winning culture within the locker room and the organization, leading by example and proving that he cares as much as they do, maybe even more.
The Lions might not be ready to pursue a Super Bowl right now, but they should still be a team no one wants to face come playoff time.
