The Dallas Cowboys had plenty of ups and downs this season, but one thing was almost a certainty every single time they stepped on the gridiron: CeeDee Lamb was going to go off.
Lamb got off to a slow and disappointing start to the season.
It didn’t take long before he voiced his frustration about his lack of targets, up to the point where some people even speculated about a potential trade.
The team started getting him more involved and he turned into Dak Prescott’s favorite target, and the rest is history.
And now that he’s almost secured an All-Pro selection as either the best or second-best in all wide receiver-related categories, Skip Bayless still believes he’s underrated.
“CeeDee Lamb remains underrated, under-hyped and under-appreciated. Simply put, he has been the best wide receiver in the NFL for most of this season,” Bayless said.

Talking on his podcast about the Cowboys’ MVP, Bayless went as far as to say that Lamb continues to be underappreciated.
Lamb is one of the best wideouts in the game, and one could make a case for him being the best wide receiver in the league this season, even ahead of Tyreek Hill.
Everybody has given him his flowers, and fans and pundits alike called the Cowboys out when he wasn’t getting double-digits in targets every single game, so it doesn’t feel like he’s underrated by any means.
Some people still believe Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, Davante Adams, and the aforementioned Hill are all better than Lamb, but that gap isn’t as wide as it used to be.
Still, Lamb will have plenty of chances to prove his worth in the postseason to convince those few who still don’t think of him as a top-tier WR.
