With the NFL regular season already in the history books, it’s time to look ahead to the future.
Only 14 teams are still in contention for the Vince Lombardi trophy, and while not all those that were eliminated will be looking to change coaches, some are already in the hunt for a new boss.
With that in mind, Jordan Schultz reports that the Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders have all expressed an interest in hiring Jim Harbaugh.
“Raiders, Chargers, and Commanders – potentially others as well – all interested in Jim Harbaugh, who I’m told plans to leave Michigan and return to the NFL,” Schultz said.

Harbaugh’s recent actions seem to indicate that he’s ready to go back to the pros after his successful stint with the University of Michigan.
That’s a no-brainer, as he was suspended by the NCAA and is looking at another potential suspension due to an ongoing investigation.
He’s been strongly coveted for quite a while now, and the timing is just perfect for him to make his long-awaited return.
Harbaugh will coach the Wolverines in the National Championship game vs. the Washington Huskies on Monday night, and then, he’s likely going to be free to sit down and talk with whichever team is interested in his services.
The Commanders are going to be quite aggressive in their pursuit of a new head coach after parting ways with Ron Rivera, as the new ownership wants to get back to contention right away.
The Raiders will also consider interim coach Antonio Pierce as an option, while the Chargers are also reportedly keeping tabs on Bill Belichick, should he become available.
