The Miami Dolphins could’ve had an “easier” path to the AFC Championship Game.
But dropping the ball vs. the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, and ultimately, the Buffalo Bills, may have doomed their season.
They will now have to hit the road to play in a hostile environment and quite different weather.
They’re expected to play at below-zero temperatures vs. the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
And while these Chiefs haven’t been as dominant as per usual, Tua Tagovailoa has struggled mightily in the blistering cold.
According to StatMuse (via Dov Kleiman), Tua is 0-4 with a 55.5 completion percentage, a 71.8 passer rating, four touchdowns, and five interceptions when playing in temperatures of under 45 degrees.

The Dolphins will also be without a handful of starters as they deal with major injuries on both sides of the ball.
The Chiefs have yet to find their stride, but we know they’re more than capable of just flipping the switch and getting hot when it matters the most, which is something we cannot say about Mike McDaniel’s team yet.
The Dolphins only managed to beat one team with a winning record this season.
They faced the Chiefs in Germany, and while they managed to hold their own, they couldn’t get the job done and Steve Spagnuolo kept Tyreek Hill in a chokehold for the better part of the game.
Will Tua Tagovailoa shake off his woes and finally get a win in the cold?
We’ll just have to tune in on Saturday night and see.
