After making easy work of the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins in consecutive weeks ahead of their regular-season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens proved to a lot of their doubters that they are arguably the best all-around team in the league ahead of the NFL playoffs.
Lamar Jackson and company have proven they can play with any team in the league and are the favorite to win the Super Bowl right now, with the team heading into the postseason with a first-round bye and home-field advantage through the playoffs.
If the Ravens were not already talented enough, especially on the offensive side of the football, Baltimore was able to take another leap forward in that department by signing veteran running back Dalvin Cook, who recently asked the New York Jets to release him in order to join a title contender.
On Wednesday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked about the addition of Cook and what role he’ll have on the team moving forward, with the longtime head coach saying the veteran back will be a “very valuable weapon” for the team’s offense, according to Sarah Ellison of The Vault.

After a successful stint with the Minnesota Vikings, resulting in four consecutive Pro Bowl selections, the team released him before the 2023 NFL season, with the consensus being that the two sides couldn’t agree to a long-term contract extension.
Cook ultimately decided to sign with the Jets, but that stint turned out to be a disappointment, leading to him wanting to join another team that was playoff-bound.
