The Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the most disappointing teams in the league this season.
They were supposed to be a dark horse candidate to make the Super Bowl.
And while CJ Stroud’s surge could’ve changed things for them, they still had the best team in the AFC South, were the reigning divisional champions, and had at least five opportunities to run away with the division.
So, after watching them lose five of their last six games and let the playoffs slip right through their fingers, even QB Trevor Lawrence admitted that they had issues.
With that in mind, former NFL player Willie Colon argued that they should be in the mix to hire Bill Belichick.

Talking on The Carton Show, the former defender claimed that as good as Doug Pederson is, it wouldn’t be the first time that he’s been fired after doing a solid job, which is what happened to him after winning a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Colon stated that those things and all that ‘we don’t know what we’re doing’ wouldn’t happen under Belichick, which is why they should keep an eye on him.
Whether Belichick would be interested in taking the reins of the Jaguars remains to be seen, as he’s more than likely going to get to a place where he can be in charge of most decisions.
Then again, given his track record, we couldn’t and shouldn’t rule out any potential destination.
