One thing in sports and life that tends to motivate people and give them incentive is criticism and doubts.
That is especially true in the NFL, where many players have the ability to prove those critics and doubters wrong, and they take special pride in doing so.
The Green Bay Packers were a team that was counted out until very recently, but they won six of their last eight games, and as a result, they’re headed to the playoffs.
Running back Aaron Jones talked about how he has kept all the receipts of people who were doubting the Packers’ chances of getting to the postseason while on the “Up & Adams” show.
“It’s the ultimate great feeling when people have counted you out or doubted you over that, you block it out, you listen to the people who are around you,” Jones said.

After a Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay was 3-6, and with a young roster and a first-time starting quarterback in Jordan Love, the outlook was bleak for them.
At the time, it looked like perhaps Love wasn’t worthy of taking the baton from the departed Aaron Rodgers, but from that point on, Love has looked like an emerging star.
He finished the season second in the NFL in passing touchdowns and seventh in passing yards, and it is looking like the Packers got extremely lucky after losing a Hall of Fame QB once again, just as they did in the late 2000s when Brett Favre left and Rodgers took over.
Jones was limited to 11 games this year due to injury, but he posted a decent 656 rushing yards, 233 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns.
The Packers will face a stiff test in the wild-card round when they visit the Dallas Cowboys, who have been seemingly unbeatable at home.
