The Green Bay Packers beat the odds to reach the promised land.
They’re the youngest team to reach the playoffs since 1982.
They hit a bit of a wall early in the season, but despite their youth and lack of experience, they were able to get over the hump, regroup, and kept fighting.
With that in mind, Kay Adams asked veteran RB Aaron Jones what has been different from this Packers team when compared to some other teams from the Aaron Rodgers era (via Up & Adams).
Jones didn’t hesitate to state that the biggest difference is that everybody is closer now.
The biggest difference between this year’s Packers team and the ones in previous years for Aaron Jones?

The veteran claimed that they hang out outside of the field and the locker room and that it’s easier to fight and go to war for someone you know and love, comparing them to brothers and sisters.
Jones stated that they’ve gone to each other’s houses and know each other’s backgrounds, so they have full confidence in every single guy that’s next to them.
As emotional as it may sound, that kind of stuff can take a team a long way.
On the flip side, a team that doesn’t like each other is very unlikely to find any sort of success, regardless of how much talent they have on their roster, and we’ve seen that happen dozens of times.
Props to the Packers’ organization and veterans for creating this kind of environment; that’s just what they needed to prove that they could compete despite not having a Hall of Famer at quarterback.
