After beating the division-rival Chicago Bears in their regular-season finale, the Green Bay Packers were able to clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs, which is something no one thought this team could accomplish with the way things started this season for the storied franchise that had just traded superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Fortunately, despite the slow start, in which the Packers won only two of their first seven games of the 2023 NFL regular season, Jordan Love and company were able to turn things around and finish the year on a high note, resulting in the playoff berth.
Unfortunately for Green Bay, the team will have to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs to face the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys, who are one of the best all-around teams in the league heading into the postseason.
With the Packers already a long shot to come out on top against the Cowboys, things may have gotten that much harder leading up to the playoff showdown at AT&T Stadium, with running back AJ Dillon dealing with thumb and neck injuries that have him listed as doubtful, via Around The NFL.

If Dillon misses this playoff game, the Packers will have one fewer offensive weapon at Love’s disposal against one of the best defenses in the NFL, led by superstar linebacker Micah Parsons.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Packers deal with the potential loss of Dillon and whether this team can keep up with the Cowboys, which is a team desperately hoping to make a deep run in the playoffs.
