The Buffalo Bills have come on strong at the right time this year after the team won its past five games to win the AFC East and take the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.
That momentum comes after a stretch during the regular season where the Bills were on the outside of the playoff field looking in and forced a lot of questions to be asked about quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the team.
But all that is the past as the Bills take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at home on Monday, and the way Buffalo has played of late has CBS NFL analyst and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo looking at this team as a Super Bowl contender.
“That’s the biggest difference I’ve seen is just their ability to close out games and do the things championship teams do,” Romo said. “They have a chance to win the whole thing.”

The Bills offense looked much improved following the firing of offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and the defense came on strong as well to end the season.
Allen is still playing a bit erratically with bad turnovers, but he makes up for it with sensational plays with his arms and his legs.
It helps, too, that the running game has looked a bit better with James Cook despite inconsistency from wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Steelers matchup could have been difficult if not for pass rusher T.J. Watt hurting his knee a week ago and being ruled out for the game.
This is the first step for the Bills in their Super Bowl pursuit, but the momentum is surely on their side.
