The Golden State Warriors will finally get star forward Draymond Green back on the basketball floor next week, with what turned out to be a 16-game suspension coming to an end.
After another brutal on-court incident that resulted in an ejection, Green was suspended indefinitely by the league, with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and company growing tired of the veteran forward’s antics.
As a result, Green had to go through counseling before he was eligible to return to the floor for the Warriors, which actually made the four-time NBA champion consider retirement.
After Silver urged Green to continue his basketball career with the Warriors, he’ll get back to work on Monday when Golden State heads on the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

With Green being as unpredictable as they come in the NBA, there’s no telling whether he’ll be able to keep his cool when he resumes his playing career with the Warriors on Monday.
Green has played in one gear his entire career in the league, and it has helped him become one of the best defensive players in the NBA while being a part of a dynasty under head coach Steve Kerr, playing alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Only time will tell if Green can figure out a way to continue playing at a high level with these physical outbursts that have defined his career.
