The Las Vegas Raiders currently sit at 1-2 during the 2023 NFL season though the team’s on-field struggles have been masked by what’s been happening off the turf.
Shortly before the start of the regular season, veteran defensive end Chandler Jones took to social media to blast the organization, Josh McDaniels, and Dave Ziegler.
In a series of posts, Jones accused the Raiders of barring him access to their training facility as well as sending someone to the mother of his child’s home.
It was a bizarre and completely surprising situation that forced Las Vegas to place Jones on the non-football injury list as the two sides worked internally on resolving the problem.
The 33-year-old has missed the team’s past three games but is slated to miss more after news broke that he had been arrested and booked in Las Vegas.
Details of his arrest were previously unknown, though it appears he was caught stealing items from an ex-girlfriend’s home via Las Vegas Locally.

Jones then proceeded to burn them in his backyard, and then sending her videos during while doing it.

Jones’ behavior over the past several weeks has been alarming to say the least and this latest chapter seems to suggest that he is going through some personal things.
There were no indications that this was going to happen over the offseason as he had been working hard to get himself back into shape and play a larger role on the Raiders’ defense.
So far, the organization issued a post on their official Twitter account saying they hope Jones receives the care that he needs but declined to provide any further comment on the situation.
