The Detroit Lions entered the season with plenty of hope and expectations.
They sold out season tickets for the first time since they started playing at Ford Field, and the team proved that the hype was well justified.
Dan Campbell’s squad rallied past the opposition to win their first-ever NFC North Division title, securing a home playoff game.
The fans showed up in a huge way to welcome Mathew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams, and they were hostile and loud from start to finish.
That’s why the Lions coach tipped his hat to the fans, stating that it was the most electric environment he had ever been a part of and thanking them for showing up in such a big way (Via NFL on CBS).
“That is arguably the best environment I’ve ever been in … Our fans showed up in a big way They helped us win this game,” Campbell said.

Lions fans have been through everything, yet they continue to stand strong with their team.
This is the best Detroit Lions team most of them have ever watched, and it’s more than evident that they’ve also grown thanks to that energy from the fans.
They’ve been galvanized and continue to feed off each other, and they’ve already surpassed some people’s expectations.
Jared Goff played with a huge chip on his shoulder and proved to his former team that he was also a Super Bowl-caliber quarterback, playing almost perfect football to lead them to what Matthew Stafford could never do.
The sky seems to be the limit for this team, and the best part is that they’re still quite young, and they’re just getting started.
