It’s never been a better time to be a Detroit Lions fan.
The team continues to make great strides and raise their ceiling.
They won their first postseason game in three decades, beating perhaps the biggest dark horse candidate to make it out of the NFC.
That’s why no one, not even GM Brad Holmes, could contain his excitement after the win, as shown by a hilarious clip shared by the NFL.

Holmes was ecstatic and shouting in the elevator as the coaching staff headed back to the locker room, and you know they had a great time there.
This Lions team has been through everything.
Hiring Dan Campbell proved to be the right decision, as he’s gone to great lengths to make sure to lead by example, and he’d run through a brick wall for every single one of his players.
The feeling is mutual, though.
The Lions have built a winning culture.
Also, props to Holmes, as the team has finally struck gold with the draft picks and moves they’ve made after years of questionable and sometimes even laughable decisions.
This Lions team was built from the ground up, and the best part about it is that the success could be sustainable, as most of their core is quite young and could stay together for years to come.
This team is no fluke, and whoever faces them next needs to be quite careful not to poke them.
