Following his Super Bowl-winning season, Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald raised questions about his future in the league.
Just when it seemed like he was ready to walk away and ride into the sunset, the superstar DT decided to run it back and return.
Then again, he didn’t look as sharp as usual, struggling with injuries and watching his team crumble as reigning World Champions.
Donald vowed to get back to his old dominant self this season and he pulled it off, especially later in the season.
That’s why, when asked about whether he’d want to keep that momentum going and return for another campaign, the former Defensive Player of the Year said “for sure” (via Jourdan Rodriguez).
We watched Aaron Donald kind of age in reverse this year from a hard 2022, and get back a lot of joy with his young teammates. Asked in his postgame interview if he’s committed to carrying that forward into 2024 with this group, he said, “for sure.”

Donald is one of the greatest players of his generation and of all-time, and he continued to be a disruptive presence for Sean McVay’s defense, getting to the opposing quarterback, drawing double and triple-teams, and forcing opposing coaching staffs to game-plan for him.
He’s not getting any younger, and perhaps injuries will once again catch up with his body.
But he proved this season that he still has plenty left in the tank.
This Rams team as a whole proved to be far from done, and they might just need to make a couple of roster moves to get back to being a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
Even if that’s not the case, Aaron Donald will continue to be a force to be reckoned with for as long as he’s out there on the field.
