All is well for the Kansas City Chiefs after their season-opening loss.
Since then, they’ve won two straight games by an average of 19.5 points.
The offense is humming with Travis Kelce back on the roster after suffering a hyperextended knee.
More importantly, their defense is rolling again after Chris Jones rejoined the squad.
The performances of Steve Spagnuolo’s crew over the last two weeks has NFL analyst Brian Baldinger hyping the Chiefs defense.
“I think when I watch their defense play now that Chris Jones is in the lineup, they look like the best defense in the league to me. I know they’re ranked number four, and no disrespect to Cleveland or Buffalo or San Francisco in front of them. But Chris Jones is gonna find your weakness in the offense. Why? He’s gonna exploit,” Baldinger said in his recent appearance at NFL Total Access.

Jones rejoined the Chiefs on a one-year deal after the Chiefs’ 21-20 opening weekend loss to the Detroit Lions.
As Baldinger mentioned, the strength of the Kansas City defense doesn’t remain with Jones.
Instead, he also praised cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie.
“They look like the best tandem of corners in this league. If you wanna play man coverage, good luck beating those two corners. There’s nothing that they can’t do. They tackle well, they see the ball well, they break up a lot of plays,” Baldinger said about the cornerback tandem.
With their defense in place, the Chiefs look to extend their winning streak to three by defeating the New York Jets in Week 4.
