The Philadelphia Eagles were fresh off a Super Bowl trip.
More than that, they began the season with a 10-1 record, and while it wasn’t always pretty, the team always found ways to come back from behind, rally together, and get wins out of the mud.
Some criticized them for getting behind in the first place, but they looked like a team that was confident enough in their ability to overcome adversity.
That’s why NFL analyst Booger McFarland can’t put his finger on this team’s debacle.
He took to Twitter to claim that there must’ve been something going on behind closed doors, adding that the coaching staff was to blame for their meltdown.
What happened to the Eagles isn’t normal , there is something going on in that locker room /coaching staff that has led to a team being 10-1 then finishing 1-6. It will come out at some point

McFarland also thinks it’s a matter of time before the truth comes to light.
The Eagles still have a solid roster and should be contenders for years to come, even in the wake of Jason Kelce’s retirement.
Then again, Nick Sirianni might not be there to coach them.
Sirianni’s antics rubbed plenty of people around the league the wrong way, but it was okay when he was winning.
Now, it seems like he’s also lost his locker room’s trust and confidence.
Replacing Sean Desai with Matt Patricia only made things worse, and even though they made it to the Super Bowl last year, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the team deciding to go in a different direction after this collapse.
Something out of the ordinary happened in Philadelphia.
We might never know what went down, but this wasn’t normal.
