After an impressive start to the 2023 NFL regular season, with 10 wins in the first 11 games, the Philadelphia Eagles looked like one of the best teams in the league once again, with the team having its sights set on getting back to and winning the Super Bowl.
Unfortunately, the second half of the regular season wasn’t so kind to the Eagles, with the team falling apart and looking like a completely different squad heading into the NFL playoffs to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the postseason.
Ultimately, the Eagles continued their slide during the playoffs, with Philadelphia unable to keep up with a hungry Buccaneers team led by a motivated Baker Mayfield and company, who ended up coming out on top in convincing fashion, 32-9.
In the aftermath of this devastating loss by the Eagles, it appears that head coach Nick Sirianni and his coaching staff could be in danger of losing their jobs, especially with so many potential game-changing coaches available on the open market.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network didn’t go as far as to say Sirianni will lose his job as head coach but did say significant changes are on the horizon in Philadelphia, via “The Jim Rome Show.”
“There’s a lot of question marks with Philadelphia that’s beyond the head coach, but either way, whether Nick Sirianni stays or not, you’re going to have big changes in Philadelphia,” Pelissero said.

With big-name head coaches like Bill Belichick, Mike Vrabel, and Jim Harbaugh looking for work in the NFL, Sirianni could very well be on his way out, with GM Howie Roseman potentially looking to shake things up with a drastic change to the coaching staff.
Only time will tell what the Eagles front office plans to do, but it seems like the team will make some noise to right the ship.
