The Philadelphia Eagles lost six of their last seven games of the season, including their playoff game.
That put Nick Sirianni’s job in jeopardy, which is something that seemed almost impossible after watching him make the Super Bowl last season and then get off to a 10-1 start to the next campaign.
And now that Bill Belichick is up for grabs, it seems like the Eagles could and should at least try to do their due diligence there.
With that in mind, sports analyst Skip Bayless admits that he would be “scared” if the legendary New England Patriots coach were to arrive in Philly.
Talking on “Undisputed,” Bayless argued that even though he hasn’t been a fan of Belichick since Tom Brady left and that he’s unimpressed by his record without Brady, he still knows Belichick could reignite the fire in that locker room.

“Their defense is way overrated and flammable. Could he reignite the fire in the locker room? Yes.” pic.twitter.com/0C4yhBS1aL

Also, Bayless believes Belichick would be a great fit in the City of Brotherly Love because of how “flammable” their defense was, yet he knows he could turn things around on defense with the kind of talent they have on their roster right now.
Bayless believes that Sirianni lost his locker room at the end of the season, and it’s almost impossible to come back from that.
The Eagles still have the best team in their division and one of the best in the league, and they should be back in the mix next season, but even if Sirianni stays put, it’s more than clear that something has got to change.
