After taking down the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys in convincing fashion during the first round of the NFL playoffs, the Green Bay Packers have another tall task ahead of them this weekend, with Jordan Love and company traveling to the Bay Area to take on the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
Along with facing long odds again against arguably the best team in the NFC on the road, the Packers are dealing with a number of injuries to key players that could change the outcome of this game between these two teams.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, four players, in particular, are currently listed as questionable for this NFC showdown in the Bay Area on Saturday, with Jaire Alexander and AJ Dillon being the most notable names on the injury report for Green Bay.
Game statuses for Saturday night at San Fran:
Questionable: Jaire Alexander, AJ Dillon, Isaiah McDuffie, Daniel Whelan.
Whelan, the Packers punter, has an illness but coach Matt LaFleur said he thinks he will be OK by game time.

The 49ers are currently heavily favored to come out on top in this playoff matchup with the Packers, with the consensus being that San Francisco is, without a doubt, the best all-around team and will benefit from playing on their home field.
However, the Packers have proven to be as resilient as any team in the league this year, with Green Bay being one of the hottest teams in the NFL in the second half of the regular season leading into the postseason, where they pulled off the major upset over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Even though the 49ers are expected to come out on top and advance to the NFC Championship Game, the Packers could make it interesting if these injuries don’t prove to be too much to overcome.
