The New York Jets have lost two straight since winning their season-opening game against the Buffalo Bills, putting up only ten points in both games.
Meanwhile, their defense has been trying to hold their ground but couldn’t stop the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots.
The Jets will try to avoid falling into a 1-3 skid when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.
While beating the defending Super Bowl champions is easier said than done, Jets defensive lineman Jermaine Johnson II is confident they can slow down quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“We got something for him, we got something for him,” Johnson told Jets 360 Productions Senior Director Eric Allen via Heavy Sports’ Jets reporter Paul Andrew Esden Jr.

The Jets do have playmakers on defense like Johnson, Quinnen Williams, C.J. Mosley, D.J. Reed, Jordan Whitehead, and Sauce Gardner.
But getting to Mahomes might be difficult, especially when the Chiefs’ offensive line has allowed only one sack through Week 3.
The men up front, especially center Creed Humphrey, left guard Joe Thuney, and left tackle Donovan Smith, have been excellent to start the season.
The Chiefs’ defense has also been elite through the first three weeks, ranking fourth in points allowed per game (13.3).
They also rank seventh in total yards allowed (280.7) and sixth in passing yards allowed (178) per game.
Jermaine Johnson and the Jets’ defense will certainly have their hands full with the Chiefs in Week 4.
