The Philadelphia Eagles seemed like the team to beat in the NFL through the first 11 games of the 2023 season.
They were 10-1 at that point, seemingly headed to another No. 1 seed, guaranteeing them home-field advantage in the playoffs.
After the fast start, the Eagles faded quickly, only winning one more of their final six games.
As fans are well aware, the Eagles then lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, ending their season earlier than anticipated.
With this loss, analyst Ross Tucker believes that the future of the Eagles could be in trouble.
“Hopefully it’s not the end, but it sounds like there’s a pretty good chance it could be,” Tucker said.
Is this the end of an era for the Eagles?

One specific example he mentions are several key veterans on this team.
Many of those players, including several of their offensive linemen, could be on their way out the door in the next few years.
Jason Kelce hasn’t officially announced his retirement, but all signs indicate him doing so.
As Tucker indicates, Lane Johnson and Brandon Graham will likely be back next year.
However, seeing how both of them are in the twilight of their careers, the Eagles’ offensive line will likely look a lot different in the near future.
This has been among the most dominant lines in the league, a title that could soon change.
Plus, the future is unclear for Nick Sirianni as the Eagles’ head coach, and if things don’t turn around next year, a changing of the guard could also happen soon.
As an Eagles fan, Tucker is relatively sure that their reign as one of the NFC’s top teams is over.
Can they find a way to defy the odds in 2024?
