The AFC divisional round will feature two incredible games between four of the best teams in the conference.
While the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Buffalo Bills will end the weekend, the Baltimore Ravens will host the Houston Texans to open the round on Saturday in a rematch of a Week 1 victory for Baltimore.
Both teams improved after that first game, though, as Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson put together an MVP-caliber season and Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud could win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The yearly improvements by both quarterbacks, as well as each team’s respective defenses, are why former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and current Fox Sports analyst Michael Irvin said he believes Ravens vs. Texans will be better than any other game in the divisional round.
“I think this is going to be one of the best games of the week,” Irvin said.

The Ravens’ starters haven’t played since Week 17 after they rested for Week 18, but Baltimore dismantled some of the best teams in the NFL on its way to the No. 1 seed.
Houston, meanwhile, came out hot in the wild card round and beat the Cleveland Browns in a blowout victory behind Stroud’s arm and a suffocating defense.
So while the Ravens are big favorites, there’s a good chance this game is a lot closer than expected because of how much both teams improved since Baltimore’s big Week 1 win.
A shot at the AFC title is on the line after this one, too, against either Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs or Josh Allen and the Bills.
