Over the last few weeks, there has been a lull in MLB free agency.
Many top players are still without teams, but it seemed like many of the teams and players were waiting for the best deal.
On Friday, we finally saw another star player come off the board.
That is former San Diego Padres closer Josh Hader.
Hader is the best closer available and he agreed to a massive contract with the Houston Astros.
According to Jon Heyman, Hader agreed to a five-year, $95 million deal.

Houston needed some help in their bullpen so they went out and got the best closer available.
Last season, Hader was dominant for the Padres.
He threw 56.1 innings, struck out 85 batters, and had a 1.28 ERA.
His 33 saves were also the fifth most in the National League.
The Astros continue to show they are all-in after a move like this.
Assuming Hader will take over the closer role, the Astros have three dominant arms at the back end of their bullpen.
Hader, Ryan Pressly, and Bryan Abreu will cause many problems for opposing teams over the final three innings.
After losing in the ALCS last year, the Astros wanted to do what was necessary to get back on top.
Hader certainly helps their chances of getting back to the Fall Classic.
But first, the Astros have to make their way through the AL West.
That looks like one of the toughest divisions in baseball.
If Hader can continue his dominant ways, there is no ceiling for the Astros’ success.
