After looking mediocre for much of this season, the Buffalo Bills finished their schedule strong, and they will take their six-game winning streak into the divisional round of the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs, who are the defending Super Bowl champs, aren’t quite as formidable as they used to be, but they still have Patrick Mahomes, who is still the scariest quarterback in football come playoff time.
Buffalo offensive lineman Dion Dawkins, a three-time Pro Bowler, had a strong message for Mahomes when he told the two-time MVP “Good luck” per NFL on ESPN.

Mahomes didn’t put up his usual numbers this season, but most of that could likely be attributed to the fact that this was a transition year for Kansas City.
With JuJu Smith-Schuster, by far their best wide receiver last year, gone and All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill a distant memory, they have had to develop a young group of wideouts throughout the year.
While rookie Rashee Rice may be developing into a legitimate threat, the Chiefs’ wideouts have had a large number of dropped passes, especially during crunch time.
However, the playoffs are Mahomes’ time, and he has a history of working his magic when his team needs him to do so the most.
This will be his first-ever road playoff game, and many are intrigued by how he will respond and play without his fans at Arrowhead Stadium backing him up.
A win over the red-hot Bills would only add to Mahomes’ already sterling resume as one of the greatest quarterbacks football has ever seen.
