This weekend’s Buffalo Bills-Kansas City Chiefs divisional-round playoff game has a good chance of going down as the NFL’s best postseason game of this year.
This will be the third time in the last four seasons these two teams have faced off, with the Chiefs having won both of the previous matchups.
While plenty of people feel the Bills have an excellent chance of winning, especially since they will be at home, Kevin Harlan, one of the NFL’s best play-by-play commentators, says they actually have more pressure on them when it comes to this game than Kansas City does, via Arrowhead Pride.
“I think all the pressure this week is on Buffalo,” Harlan said.

Harlan pointed out how difficult this season was for Kansas City, given how they had been to the Super Bowl in three of the previous four seasons and the fatigue, both physically and mentally, that results.
They also had to figure out how their main contributors at the wide receiver position would be this season, as Tyreek Hill is long gone and JuJu Smith-Schuster, their most productive wideout last year, left during the offseason.
The Chiefs lost several close games during the regular season as their wideouts dropped a large number of passes, which caused many to be concerned about their championship hopes.
But Harlan said that now that the playoffs have arrived, there is a “light at the end of the tunnel” knowing that their season is on the line and they only need to win three more games to repeat as world champs.
At the same time, as he pointed out, Buffalo has been banged up, especially on defense, and their city has had lots of weather problems due to ample snowfall.
