The Green Bay Packers have been the best at bridging eras of quarterbacks, and it looks like they’ve done it again after the season Jordan Love had.
Love was tabbed the starter before the 2023 NFL season after the Packers traded away Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
There were questions about Love’s viability because of his lack of experience and his first few weeks were great before he hit a wall midway through the regular season.
However, the young signal caller figured things out in the second half of the year and went into the Wild Card Round playing with loads of confidence.
Love cemented his status as the franchise’s quarterback after blowing out the Dallas Cowboys and is now in line for a massive extension.
Quarterbacks are paid handsomely in the NFL and Love is set to join the top-tier of the position when it comes to pay via Adam Schefter of ESPN.
“The #Packers are expected to make Jordan Love one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL,” Schefter reported.

Love previously signed a one-year extension worth about $22.5 million but his new extension should be much higher given his age and talent.
Fortunately, the Packers have cost-controlled players on rookie deals that are producing so paying Love shouldn’t be a problem for the foreseeable future.
Green Bay may have been eliminated by the San Francisco 49ers but it doesn’t appear like they are going to be struggling much with Love under center.
Fans have to be ecstatic about his development and he should continue to grow into one of the game’s best.
