The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills have given us some instant classics, especially in the playoffs.
That’s why all eyes were set on Highmark Stadium on Sunday when Josh Allen and company hosted Patrick Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl champions.
Everybody wanted to witness history in the making again.
As a matter of fact, the game drew a whopping 50.393 million viewers, making it the most-watched Divisional Round game of all time, according to CBS Sports (via Ari Meirov).

The game didn’t disappoint.
There were many lead changes, spectacular plays, and a heartbreaking finale.
The table was set for the Bills to finally get past the Chiefs in the postseason.
The reigning Super Bowl champions hadn’t been as good offensively this season, and they would have to play on the road for the first time in Patrick Mahomes’ postseason career.
Unfortunately for the home side, Tyler Bass’ game-tying field goal went wide right to put an end to their season.
The fans were in disbelief and heartbroken, and they even started throwing snowballs at Mahomes and Kansas City’s players.
These games are always full of drama and storylines.
Hopefully, Allen and the Bills will get another shot at revenge at some point down the line.
That would be another massive win for the league, as it’s become loud and clear that people want to see Mahomes and Allen going at it.
