The Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the National Football League this season by a big margin.
They beat all the winning teams they faced and made a statement almost every single time they needed to make one.
Nonetheless, as dominant as they were, some still don’t think they have what it takes to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Notably, that includes former Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman.
Talking on Undisputed, Sherman claimed that Lamar Jackson and company would have to put together a ‘Herculean effort’ to beat the Chiefs.
“It’s going to take a Herculean effort from Lamar Jackson to send Patrick Mahomes home,” Sherman said.

He said that he’s only seen Mahomes lose in the playoffs to Tom Brady and Joe Burrow, adding that one of those losses came with him missing his top two tackles, and the other was an absolute dogfight.
That shouldn’t be a shot to Jackson whatsoever, it’s just a fact.
Jackson has failed to be at his best in the playoffs in the past, but he’s trying to turn that narrative around this season.
He does have the talent to go toe-to-toe with Mahomes, which is something not many players could say.
Then again, he still needs to do it.
He’s 1-3 in his career vs. Mahomes and the Chiefs, and Pat has been there and done that way too many times already.
The Ravens have everything they need to beat the Chiefs.
But sometimes, not even that’s enough to get past the best player in the game, and you can never count Patrick Mahomes out of any situation.
