The city of Atlanta is known for many things.
Atlanta is a hub for several major companies, including Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, UPS, and Home Depot, to name a few.
It is also blossoming with culture and is a destination for many people around the globe.
While all of this might be true, the same can not be said about their professional sports teams, at least according to Craig Carton.
Carton went on a mini tirade in a recent segment of his show, calling Atlanta “the worst professional sports town in America.”

Carton’s team pushed back on his take, especially since he has been a public advocate for Bill Belichick to coach the Falcons.
However, he explained that this is more about Belichick than the destination, as he said, “I don’t care about Atlanta.”
While it is clear that Carton isn’t a big fan of this major city, Atlanta does have a lot to work out over the next several months.
The Falcons have one of the best groupings of young skill-position players in the league, but they have been unable to combine their talent and materialize it into winning stretches.
A new coach might be able to solve some of their woes, depending on who takes the job.
It will be interesting to see what direction the team goes, especially if they choose someone other than Belichick.
Carton’s mind doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon, unless the team signs Belichick to be their head coach and they start winning games again.
