During another rough season, Los Angeles Chargers owner Dean Spanos finally made the call to clean house and get rid of former general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Brandon Staley.
The Chargers have built a reputation around the NFL for their futility and bad luck in close games, and the curse continued in 2023.
Despite a stacked roster, Los Angeles fell well short of expectations and came into the offseason looking to revamp the organization.
All eyes were on what the Chargers did about their head coaching vacancy as they were arguably the most attractive destination because of Justin Herbert.
Los Angeles made sure to make a splash hire as they agreed to terms with Jim Harbaugh who just led the Michigan Wolverines to a CFP title.
Jim’s brother John Harbaugh was asked about his hiring and immediately talked about their matchup in 2024 via Around The NFL.
“We play them next year,” Harbaugh said.

John is trying to capture his championship as his Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
The two brothers are close as John was in attendance to see Michigan beat Washington while Jim watched Baltimore overcome the Houston Texans.
Jim and the Chargers are scheduled to host John and the Ravens in 2024 and it’ll be an exciting time to see the brothers face off against each other again in the NFL.
Los Angeles still has work to do regarding the roster, but they should be feeling good about having Jim on their side.
