Even the biggest fans of the game could have had a tough time predicting the Super Bowl champion at the start of the season; it doesn’t matter how many years they have watched the NFL.
Injuries, trades, underperforming teams, bad luck, bad calls, and countless issues could interfere with a prediction and a team’s winning season.
Take the Cincinnati Bengals as an example.
Not many thought they would have such a terrible season, and it was all due to Joe Burrow getting hurt.
However, somehow, someway, NFL analyst Peter Schrager has successfully predicted the last five Super Bowl winners.
With that in mind, he took to Barstool Sports’ ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast to talk about this year’s prediction and how he felt about it.
Months ago, Schrager claimed that the Chiefs would beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.
“The Chiefs will win again,” Schrager said.

And while he still stands on that prediction, he revealed that he has family ties to the Baltimore Ravens, so he’s actually rooting for them even if that snaps his five-year streak.
Schrager revealed that his father-in-law is a diehard Ravens fan and has been to every Super Bowl from dating back to the days of the Baltimore Colts, adding that his son is a diehard Lamar Jackson fan.
Then again, and despite their season-long struggles and all that has been said about them, Schrager still refuses to count Patrick Mahomes out, knowing that he’s still the best in business and anything can happen in a win-or-go-home scenario.
