The Green Bay Packers exceeded all expectations this season.
The campaign was a bit of a roller coaster for them, alternating impressive outings with head-scratching losses.
Of course, plenty of that had to do with injuries and their lack of experience, but they were still able to right the ship and finish the season strong to punch their tickets to the playoffs.
There, they upset the Dallas Cowboys on the road and dominated from start to finish.
They were also just a missed field goal away from taking the San Francisco 49ers to overtime at Levi’s Stadium, so it’s hard to be upset with them after the loss.
That’s why running back Aaron Jones wanted to put the rest of the league on notice and warn them about this team for the upcoming campaign and years to come (via Around the NFL):
“I feel like we’re gonna be dangerous. We’re gonna be special,” Jones said.

Having Jones on the field will be key to Matt LaFleur’s team.
Notably, the bonafide tackle-breaker was in and out because of some ailments, but he finished the season quite strong.
Jones torched the Cowboys for three touchdowns and then became the first player to run for over 100 yards against the San Francisco 49ers since Week 8 of the 2021 season, and the first to top 90 rushing yards this season.
The Packers were the youngest team to make the playoffs in the past 40 years, and that’s perhaps the most encouraging part about this team.
